IPhones VS Androids Phones,Their Differences and Similarities

There is excitement in the media and telecommunications worlds as iPhone and Android users vie for the kind of champion in mobile technology. From a productivity standpoint, the two devices do have their differences and similarities. However, depending on the categories they serve, there is always one that has a competitive advantage. We'll look at each mobile device in each selection category to see which one stands out. Areas to question in this smartphone saga are: logging in features, taking pictures, making phone calls, managing storage, entertaining users, and last but not least, engaging with social media.

Logging in

Logging into a device can be the first test of patience and tolerance, because it's the first thing we do before using the phone's other features. The iPhone's TouchID fingerprint sensor technology is considered the most secure way to allow authorized users to access the device, as each fingerprint is unique to every person on the planet. While Android users have similar technology, the iPhone is the real patent leader when it comes to this feature.

For a closer comparison, Android has a smart screen lock technology that uses facial recognition to allow access to the device, but this generally turns out to be less secure than the TouchID feature. While this admits that the iPhone is the top pick in the category, Android users may prefer other features, such as making phone calls.

Dial number

Now that social distancing has become the new normal, "Facetime" calls have once again proved its worth, and iPhone users are smiling at the feature. In this category, Android users bridge the gap as much as possible by using other apps, such as WhatsApp, to virtually connect with their contacts. However, it is not the same as "Facetime".

In contrast to the latter, Android technology has a user-friendly contact list feature that is considered superior to the iPhone. All contacts are listed in order of most recent and most frequent calls. This handy feature allows easy retrieval and recall of calls. However, someone would say; "Who needs it when you can call it!"

Selfies and snapshots

When it comes to putting a photo on your face, taking a photo is considered the number one feature for most smartphone users. When it comes to capturing moments with precision and quality, the iPhone seems to be leading the pack once again. While both share their strengths and weaknesses based on the user's skills, one thing stands out: photo arrangement and storage. Unreservedly, Android happens to overtake iPhone in this category because Google Photo stores and manages pictures.

Storage

Storage plays an important role in data collection, and this feature can be given high marks when deciding which device to use. If a person is a photographer, graphic artist, or entertainer who is considering an affordable device that can manage data, he or she will most likely choose an Android smartphone. Why, because it doesn't need to be upgraded when it runs out of capacity to store files. There is an expandable SD card as well as accessible cloud storage.

In stark contrast, the iPhone does share cloud storage options by keeping files in iCloud. This is similar to Google Photos, but its internal storage differs in that it doesn't come with a consumable SD slot, and once users exceed their physical storage capacity, they have to upgrade their smartphones to newer and newer devices. If one is an entertainer and has the ability to do it, then the wise advice is to buy an iPhone because the next feature trumps all the others!

Entertainment

Video and music attract a high percentage of smartphone users, so it's important to have a device that delivers high quality and precision. The iPhone speaks loudly while packing a fist. According to CNN Business, the iPhone is the device of choice for providing its users with an unlimited and consistent music repertoire. However, unlike the iPhone Apple platform, music is not free, while Android users enjoy free music, which we all know is ad-supported.

To determine the winner in this category, we focused on the quality of delivery, and because the entertainment speaks for itself, the iPhone puts down the mic and declares victory.

Social media

While the iPhone claims its dominance in entertainment, Android challenges its rivals in social media engagement. This becomes a worrying fact as its unrestricted access stems from Android's affordable cost.

Contrary to this, the iPhone is known to have a lot of holes in consumers' pockets. However, there is a fine line between new features and upgrades, and if a person doesn't have an iPhone, he or she may be left behind in the technology arena.
