10 Benefits of Arm octa-core CPUs

Arm octa-core CPUs with eight processing cores has several benefits over their quad-core and dual-core counterparts. Here are some of the main advantages of using an Arm octa-core CPU: Improved performance:  Octa-core CPUs offer better performance than dual-core and quad-core CPUs. With more cores, the CPU can handle more tasks simultaneously, resulting in faster and smoother performance. Better multitasking:  Since an octa-core CPU has more cores, it can handle multiple tasks simultaneously without slowing down. This is especially useful for people who need to run several applications simultaneously. Enhanced gaming:  Octa-core CPUs are ideal for gaming since they offer better performance and can handle high-end graphics processing. Longer battery life:  Octa-core CPUs are designed to be more energy efficient, which means they consume less power than their quad-core and dual-core counterparts. Improved AI processing:  With the increasing use of AI in various ap...

Intel To Build Processors For Smartphone Chip Vendor MediaTek

Intel's new foundry business has struck a deal to make processors for Taiwanese chip designer MediaTek. On Monday, MediaTek said it had signed an agreement to "build a more balanced and resilient supply chain" for the company's products, which include processors for smart home devices, Chromebooks and tablets. MediaTek also noted that Intel's foundry business is expected to have "huge capacity" in the U.S. and Europe. NS Tsai, corporate vice president of the chip supplier, said: "IFS (Intel Foundry Services) is committed to expanding production capacity, providing value to MediaTek, and helping us build a more diversified supply chain." The partnership is a win for Intel, given that MediaTek currently sources chip production from rival TSMC. Intel's goal is to attract all major customers to its foundry business, even Apple, which also relies on TSMC for iPhone and Mac processors. However, details of the deal with MediaTek are scant, inclu...
